About Me

I was born and raised in Chicago and attended the Illinois Institute of Technology under a NROTC scholarship. I graduated in 1966 and spent the next 21 Years in the Submarine Force. From 1987 until I fully retired in 2010, I was a Software Engineer and was part of several development teams including Norton Utilities.

In 1996 I turned my woodworking desires into a "full time" Hobby. Since then I have worked on enhancing my skills and have specialized in small boxes.

I now spend as much time as I can in my shop. I learned to do marquetry at a seminar by Paul Schurch and I use this technique as often as I can in my box designs.
