About Me

I was born and raised in Chicago and attended the Illinois Institute of Technology. I graduated in 1966 and spent the next 21 Years in the Submarine Force. From 1987 until I fully retired in 2010, I was a Software Engineer at Symantec and Northrop Grumman.

In 1996 I turned my woodworking desires into a "full time" hobby and spend as much time as I can in my shop. I learned to do marquetry at a seminar by Paul Schurch and I use this technique in some of my box designs.

More recently, I've become addicted to making segmented bowls and other items on my lathe.
